PIME grew out of a simple observation: I come from Andhra Pradesh, one of the world's largest barite-producing regions, and I've spent most of my adult life in Sydney working with Australian companies. On both sides of that line there are serious buyers of industrial minerals, and on both sides they complain about the same things — inconsistent quality, opaque supply chains, and middlemen who can't answer technical questions.
I started PIME because I'm well-placed to close that gap. I have direct, long-standing relationships with producers across Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, and the central Indian graphite belt, and I'm physically based in Australia with a registered Pty Ltd, an ABN, and a local address — not a forwarding service or a drop-shipping front.
Full transparency on day jobs. I also work full-time as a senior Guidewire / Java engineer in the insurance industry — currently with Tenzing on the IAG programme, after earlier roles at QBE, Achmea, Cognizant, Capgemini and PwC SDC over 18+ years. PIME is a second business that I run alongside that career because I find the trade genuinely interesting and because I have the supplier network to do it well. I'm not pretending to be a full-time mining executive; I'm an operator with deep India ties, professional delivery discipline from a regulated industry, and the intention to grow this business thoughtfully rather than at hype speed.
If you're evaluating PIME as a supplier, I'm happy to take the call personally, walk through exactly which producer a given shipment would come from, share Certificates of Analysis, and connect you with the mill we'd buy from. The LinkedIn profile above is mine — please verify it before we transact.
Pacific Industrial Mineral Enterprises (PIME) is an independently owned Australian trading house. Our purpose is straightforward: to source industrial minerals directly from audited Indian producers and deliver them — on specification, on time, with full documentation — to Australian and international buyers.
We are not a mine or a processor. We are an Australian-registered exporter and importer, with long-standing relationships in India's largest mineral-producing states and operational presence in Bardia, NSW. Our value is in the combination: professional Australian contracting standards on one side, direct access to the Indian supply base on the other.
Whether you need ultra-fine quartz powder for ceramics, high-potassium feldspar for glass, cosmetic-grade dolomite, or electronics-grade quartz grit, we will tell you which Indian mill the material comes from, share the Certificate of Analysis for the specific lot, and arrange pre-shipment inspection by an independent agency (SGS, Bureau Veritas or equivalent) if required.
PIME is founder-operated. When you email the enquiry line or pick up the phone, you reach a real person who owns the outcome — no call-centre layer, no off-shore account manager.
Every shipment is quoted against a written specification, shipped with a Certificate of Analysis from the processing mill, and — on request — pre-shipment inspected by an independent agency (SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek or equivalent) at the buyer's nominated port.
We build long-term relationships with clients, offering consistent supply, competitive pricing, and responsive service.
We work with audited Indian mining and processing operations that meet environmental, labour and regulatory standards — documentation available for ESG and OECD Due Diligence audits.
With logistics and export expertise, we serve clients across Asia, the Middle East, South Asia, and beyond.
Australia-based, India-sourced. We work with audited producers across India's leading mineral-exporting states — each region chosen for geological quality, established export infrastructure, and consistent, contract-ready supply.
India's largest producer of potash feldspar, soda feldspar and high-purity quartz — the Aravalli belt around Beawar, Ajmer and Kishangarh supplies the ceramic and glass sectors worldwide.
Home to Mangampet — the world's largest single barite deposit — Andhra Pradesh anchors our API 13A drilling, paint and chemical-grade barite supply, with shipping through Krishnapatnam and Chennai.
The Sukinda Valley produces the majority of India's chromite — metallurgical, foundry and refractory grades — exported through Paradip and Visakhapatnam to stainless-steel and foundry customers worldwide.
India's natural-graphite belts (flake and amorphous) plus high-purity dolomite deposits — supplying refractory, foundry, battery-anode and steel-flux customers as a non-China critical-minerals source.
Our home market is Australia. Beyond that, our logistics network moves product from the major Indian ports — Mundra, Kandla, Chennai, Visakhapatnam and Paradip — to destinations across Asia-Pacific, South Asia and the Middle East. The countries below are active target markets; if yours isn't listed we are happy to quote and arrange shipping subject to export controls and destination-country requirements.
Note: PIME is early-stage and actively building its export book. We do not publish customer names or volumes without written consent. If you need trade references for due diligence, please request them in your enquiry and we will arrange direct introductions with the suppliers and freight forwarders we work with.
